A committee of lay persons chosen to assist the priest in the administration of the temporal goods of the parish, as required by the directives of St. Paul Diocese, for the parishes having resident priests.

Only practicing Catholics of the parish with real experience in business affairs are eligible to serve on the parish Finance committee. In St. Anne’s, the committee consists of 5 members. the members are selected, nominated and elected by the parish council, Parish priest and the parish in general as per the diocesan guidelines. Each member is elected for a term of three years, which is renewable once.

The responsibility of this committee is to advice the pastor on all temporal and financial matters of parish. It will take care of the parish collection, financial reports, bank balance, etc. from the office, assist pastor in preparing the parish budget, and present the financial report at the Annual meeting.

The Finance Committee meets 4 times a year.
