St. Anne’s Council 9142

The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men’s fraternal benefit society that was formed to render financial aid to members and their families. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public relief works.

OUR MOTTO

It is better to BURNOUT by overworking than to RUSTOUT by doing too little or nothing.

St. Anne’s Council 9142 of the Knights of Columbus, was established in Barrhead on 1st December, 1985. Fr. Kasimir Bukowiski was the first chaplain. The council is very active in the parish and the community. Apart from regular support to community programs, the council also spearheaded the projects of Parish Hall and the Statue of Our Lady in the courtyard.
